Marcus Phoenix

Long wanted to try something blind, but in your favorite 35 scale, unfortunately failed (not hand out) :) ......
So after reading a bunch of stuff people molded on a small scale, I took as a basis the article <a href="http://www.chen-la.com/articles/26-makingmilitaryminiatures.html" target="_blank"> http: / / www.chen-la.com/articles/26-makingmilitaryminiatures.html </ a>, but in 35 or what did not work, somehow it came out closer to 16 ..... So it was decided that the pier small still do at 35, I will try to do the sixteenth ...... rummaged in my archives were discovered photos from the game Gears of war, the famous Marcus Phoenix is a colorful figure, especially the face is the face :) Well of course wipe do a portrait of Marcus I'm not going to, and just wanted to base the Marines costume out of this game, and of course a helmet ....... As modeled, it is generally joke, so no incremental snapshots, I did not plan that something will , but after the suit was more or less similar, I decided to aim a blow at the portrait of Phoenix ..... I made it, and even surprised myself ...... looking at the end result was a little disappointed, the work turned out dry, lifeless, in short .... lacked dynamics were cut legs, hands and head cut off (because it was originally not in place) .... And here, like nothing happened, so at  grade, but for self-satisfaction had also paint figure, so much so that it seems to be generally the end result in the photos ...... asked for stand alone , was taken by the sand, plastic gears of the clock and barrel., but what I can do to her see on the finished vignette! Thank you all! Not much kick, the first work of this scale:-P
